Program Manager (Anaplan Models)
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
• Drive alignment with key stakeholders and manage multiple concurrent Anaplan-related projects;
• Perform managerial duties such as formalizing project scope, documenting business requirements and managing project timeline to ensure projects remain on schedule;
• Gain a deep understanding of internal financial data, model connections and patterns in models
• Design, build, and deliver Anaplan models to support Autodesk planning and forecasting processes;
• Maintain and update models on the Anaplan platform to support new business objectives and initiatives;
• Configure and maintain Anaplan lists, modules, dashboards, and other model settings to meet business needs;
• Partner with Finance to understand business requirements and identify new use cases;
• Perform data integration between internal systems and Anaplan; monitor data flows to and from Anaplan platform to ensure all data is up-to-date and accurate;
• Identify and formalize best practices in application building and share them across Finance;
• Provide assessment of Anaplan user experience to product development team for suggested enhancements;
• Provide hands-on training to end users on Anaplan models and processes;
• Define and administer user roles and permissions in Anaplan; and
• Develop proof of concept models as needed
The candidate will meet the following profile:
• Excellent quantitative and analytical skills. High attention to detail is critical.
• Experience building and maintain complex Excel files and or experience with Anaplan or similar software
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently
• Ability to communicate information clearly and concisely and ensures others are informed.
• Ability to prioritize to ensure work is done in a timely and high quality manner.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities of the business and seek out ways to develop new skills.
• Ability to balance multiple projects and competing priorities.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
Minimum Requirements:
• Minimum 5-7 years relevant business experience; preferably in software / high tech
• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant financial analysis and modeling; experience with script languages preferred (VBA, SQL)
• Undergraduate degree required; MBA preferred
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and financial modeling a must; Anaplan experience preferred
