Summary
Yelp is looking for a Training Associate to support training and onboarding for Yelp’s User Operations Team. This training professional will be responsible for cultivating consumer confidence in the millions business edits that people add to the site.
In this role, you will be developing effective training approaches to improve Yelp’s data quality and user experiences on Yelp. This includes modification to training modules to stay up-to-date with product updates and policy changes.
This role is located in our downtown San Francisco office.
Responsibilities
• Create comprehensive curriculum to support ongoing product training. Liaison with engineering and product leaders to build robust training solutions.
• Onboard new hires in Yelp User Ops with Yelp Biz Page Training
• Conduct training refreshers based on needs; observe bad outcomes; study quality results; confer and work with quality associates and team leaders
• Maximize training effectiveness by contributing to content creation and employing innovative methodologies via LMS and classroom training sessions
• Work closely with other Trainers to share best practices and improve training methodology
• Identify additional User Ops training needs with help of User Ops Management Team.
Requirements
• BS/BA degree
• 1-2 year of experience
• Experience in adult education is a plus
• Excellent presentation, communication, written and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to develop content training materials and collateral based off of analytics/metrics
• Proven track record with LMS, virtual and classroom style training venues
