Job Description
The Cash Office Clerk assists in all phases of controlling the flow of funds throughout the resort.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Comply with all The Great Escape Resort policies and procedures
• Issuing tills to in-park staff
• Collection of coin operated games and related meter readings when necessary
• Collection in-park game revenues
• Daily cash pickups
• Check-in of returned bags and tracking of those not returned
• Counting of cash pickups, and returned tills, and games collections
• Rebuilding tills for the next day's use
• Balancing of daily deposits
• Vault counts
• Keeping the cash control office clean and organized
• Sorting and counting of gate tickets as needed
• Parking lot collections and ticket reconciliations
• Operation of coin counting machinery
• Maintaining relations with guests and other staff members
Skills and Qualifications:
• 18 years old preferred but not required
• Must be able to sit, stand, or walk for long periods of time
• For safety purposes, the individual must be able to communicate effectively in the English language, including the ability to read, speak, and understand the English language
• Be available to work flexible hours at nights and on weekends within the limits of applicable Federal, State and facility labor laws and guidelines
• Ability to lift over 70lbs
• Valid New York State Drivers' license preferred
Other Functions:All other duties assigned or necessary to support the resort as a whole.
