Director, Sales Strategic Accounts - Spectrum Enterprise
Job Summary
The Director of Enterprise Sales - Strategic Accounts will be focused on teams dedicated to the Strategic Verticals and Major Accounts. The role will lead a geographically-dispersed team of sales professionals in the development and implementation of various sales strategies and programs to maximize sales revenue selling voice, video, transport, and data solutions to named or targeted major accounts. This individual will coach, develop and prepare performance reviews and evaluations and will report directly to the Vice President of Sales. This position requires an entrepreneurial professional with the business acumen, experience and leadership skills to effect change and manage growth.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
•Develops and implements strategies and budget to meet or exceed revenue/sales targets, service level, and quality assurance.
•Oversees the development, implementation and continual improvement of processes and procedures to provide timely, cost- effective and efficient sales and service.
•Defines strategic program for Business Customers.
•Coaches team members in skills necessary to achieve excellence.
•Interfaces with Vice President of Sales, Group Vice President and leadership team members to ensure compliance with companywide goals and objectives.
•Provides training support as necessary for internal employees.
•Implements Commercial Services product and procedure updates within region.
•Attends conferences and meetings as required.
•May perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
•Demonstrated history of leadership positions in high-volume, fast-paced environments requiring teamwork, flexibility and change management.
•Prior direct experience with Strategic and Major Accounts programs.
•Proven abilities in continual process improvement methodologies.
•Successful demonstration of strategic, communication and planning skills.
•Proven track record in budgeting and resource management.
•Strong organizational development and business skills.
•Conversant with telecommunications/networking technologies.
•Above-average business analysis skills with MS Office tools and Salesforce.com (or similar CRM).
•Working knowledge of PC based software including Windows, MS Excel, MS Word and PowerPoint.
•Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
•Ability to travel up to 70% of the time.
•Valid and active State driver’s license and safe driving record.
Education
•Bachelor's degree from a four-year College or university; or equivalent training, education and experience .
Related Work Experience
•Ten (10) or more years general management experience in a competitive sales environment.
•Four (4) years as a Sales Manager in a Business to Business Environment emphasizing the Enterprise sector.
•Three (3) years of telecommunications, ISP, HSD experience.
