Bose is looking to add a Product Quality Data Analyst to the Quality Assurance Engineering organization in Framingham Massachusetts. This is an exciting opportunity to influence the quality and delivery of Bose products.
The Product Quality Data Analyst shall mine and analyze our field quality data sets to identify, measure and characterize quality opportunities. Conclusions derived from this work shall inform product quality initiatives for current and future Bose products.
Specific responsibilities include:
• Develop and deliver scheduled and ad hoc field quality reporting, communicating conclusions based on analysis sourced from data in the Bose product quality database, product reviews, and other product quality data sets.
• Develop and deploy product quality reporting dashboards across all consumer electronics products.
• Build and continue to refine product quality metrics and data models to further leverage the data, and more completely inform the product quality story.
• Validate data quality across data sources to ensure reporting is thorough and accurate.
• Collaborate with data systems owners and IT professionals to drive functional improvements which enable further insights from the data sets.
Job Requirements:
• 2+ years of experience applying quantitative analysis to solve business problems.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate data analyses into clear, engaging, and relatable, product quality presentations.
• Experience with data processing and visualization tools such as SQL, Python, Tableau, and Power BI
• Business operations analysis experience
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative engineering discipline.
