Raging Waters Sac - Food & Beverage Lead
Job Summary: SEASONAL position for leading a
dynamic food & beverage operation
Essential Job Functions:
• Maintain a safe work environment, according to company and external inspection standards, goals and expectations.
• Ensure that all company, local, state, and contracted inspection company food safety and cleanliness standards and regulation compliance, are maintained at all times - including completing daily temperature logs.
• Monitor and record product shrinkage/waste to control cost of sales
• Assist with weekly and monthly location inventory
• Ensure all food product specifications and procedures are followed
• Directing, coaching and developing Team Members
• Ensure all cash handling policies, procedures and expectations are followed – including cash, credit and refund transactions, counterfeit bills, loss prevention
• Follow all opening and closing as well as operating procedures for the location – including cleanliness and safety, food safety, food quality, guest service and loss prevention
• Must be able to handle guest concerns in a professional and timely manner
• Ability to a lead of team of approximately 12 people.
• Manage break schedules
• Other duties as assigned to support the park
Qualifications/Skills:
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must possess a California State Food Handlers Certification.
• Must have successfully passed all alcohol service training requirements
• Ability to address multiple tasks and priorities in a fast paced environment
• Excellent customer service skills, ability to interact effectively with a diverse array of team members and desire to assist with and resolve questions, problems, issues and concerns
• Strong communications, problem-solving and abilities. Complete understanding of the English language
• Must have Flexible schedule availability, including holidays and weekends
• Be Self-motivated and be able to work independently, as part of the food and beverage team
• Leadership experience preferred
Tools and Equipment:
• Cash register, cleaning supplies and equipment, fountain drink machines, fryers, grill, broiler, oven, soft serve yogurt machines, freezers and coolers, hot holding units, knives and slicer
Physical
Demands:
• Requires standing for long periods of time, ability to walk long distances within the park and exposure to variable outside and inside temperatures, including high heat. Must also be able to carry, push, pull, lift, hold objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Occasional bending, squatting, and reaching above shoulders.
