Raging Waters Sac - Aquatics Supervisor
Job Summary: SEASONAL position that oversees the
overall water safety of guests
Essential Job Functions:
• Must possess a special facilities certification from Ellis and Associates.
• Greet and provide guests with courteous service
• Inform guests of and enforce attraction safety requirements and park policies
• Attend at least 4 hours of In-Service training per month
• Operate rides/attractions as trained and as according to the Standard Operating Procedures
• Contribute to park clean up, including but not limited to picking up trash, straightening chairs, cleaning pools, stacking tubes, wiping tables, and pressure washing
• Direct supervision of aquatics leads and lifeguards
• Coordinate rotations and breaks of aquatics leads and lifeguards
• Inspection of the rides/attractions and equipment
• Audit lifeguards and leads
• Post aquatics schedule two weeks in advance
• Coach and counsel lifeguards and leads
• Other duties as assigned and required based on the needs of the operation
Qualifications:
• Must be able to communicate with guest and other employees effectively
• Must be at least 18 years of old
• Previous experience lifeguarding preferred
• Ellis & Associates Lifeguard Trainer License preferred
• Some positions require working at elevated heights
• Required to work in various weather conditions
• Available to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
• Attention to detail
• Swim 200 yards
• Retrieve a 10 pound brick from at least 10 feet of water
• Possess 20/25 correct vision (corrective lens, if required, must be worn while on duty)
Physical Demands:
• Requires sitting, kneeling, bending and standing for long periods of time, ability to walk long distances within the park and exposure to variable outside temperatures, including high heat.
