About the Role:
SapientRazorfish’s Washington, D.C. Brand Experience Studio is looking for a creative leader to be part of the heart and soul of their growing team. As an ACD of Experience, you will be a primary creative thought leader helping our clients reimagine their digital products and services, providing oversight, inspiration, and tough love across multiple creative teams. You will promote collaboration within teams of experience designers, visual designers, content strategists, experience tefchnologists, and copywriters. You should also be ready to roll-up your sleeves as well - everything from wireframes to keynote. There’s never a shortage of work, and no creative challenge to big.
You’ll Do this:
• Provide thought leadership in the assessment of existing experiences and identify strategic opportunities for competitive advantage
• Lead participatory design research sessions and Design Thinking workshops
• Work closely with Strategy to translate vision into tangible user experiences
• Create visually compelling representations of high-level interaction design including, navigation, site maps and organization design (i.e., concept models)
• Be ready to work in an agile/lean environment and with our development teams
• Develop and maintain relationships with key client stakeholders
• Lead stakeholder interviews and present findings to larger client groups in workshop settings
• Think on your feet to carry out quick ideation sessions and design-led workshops
• Facilitate the production of rapid prototypes, ranging from Invision all the way to production-ready HTML
• Drive the development of user experience frameworks to ensure efficiency
• Be prepared to estimate, plan and lead all creative work
• Execute and manage the creative aspects of pitches & presentations
• Work with the Group Creative Director and Creative Producer to assess inbound work and assist with resource and project planning
You’ll Have this:
• 10+ years of digital agency or consulting firm experience
• Strong portfolio of digital work with the ability to explain the rationale and thinking behind the work
• Be well-versed in user-centered design methods and interaction design best practices
• Deep familiarity with the latest mobile and responsive design patterns and practices
• Ability to juggle work on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Are comfortable working in a client-facing role and have experience working on large scale projects
• Proficiency in the latest and greatest tools, including Sketch, Invision, Adobe XD, and the full Adobe Suite
• A thirst for knowledge, a willingness to discover the unknown, and an ability to inspire both teams and clients
Education:
Bachelor's degree required. Coursework, degree, or certification in a design-related discipline is preferred. (But to be honest, we don’t care about your academic pedigree. We just want to know that you can design the $h!t out of something, and be passionate about the work and the people you do it with).
