Job Description
Job Summary:
This position is responsible for executing training and recruitment strategies to support the objectives of providing a high performance team. This position will interface with all departments to communicate training programs and staffing updates. Responsible for tracking and analyzing recruitment data. This position is accountable for delivering a superior Guest experience, while enforcing all park policies and procedures.
Special Duties and Responsibilities
• Lead team of trainers and recruiters to ensure the accuracy, completeness and timeliness of work.
• Responsible for execution of recruitment plan to support the staffing of all departments.
• Supervise the recruitment team to ensure recruitment presence in schools, job fairs, community centers and other recruitment venues.
• Prepare analysis of recruitment data and communicate staffing updates.
• Responsible for coordinating job fairs, and scheduling Team Member Orientation.
• Interface with Corporate Director of Training to execute Six Flags training programs.
• Assist with developing and implementing all Seasonal Team Member Orientations.
• Assist with development of supervisory and management training courses.
• Conduct Guest Service Audits to evaluate team member and department delivery of the guest experience. Communicate department performance to the front line Team Members and to Corporate Training and Development. Evaluate effectiveness of Guest Service and team member engagement programs.
• Maintain the park's communication boards.
• Oversee Employee Retention Programs to include: Lead Lotto, Team Six Reward Program.
• Manage operating budget related to training and recruitment.
• Conduct annual performance appraisals for HR team members.
• Assist on cross department HR functions, including interviewing, hiring & investigations.
The Ideal Candidate must possess:
• Have basic knowledge of amusement park operations or strong background in Training or Recruitment.
• Minimum 2 years Supervisory/Management Experience.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred, or relevant discipline with work experience in Training/Recruitment.
• Must be professional, with excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Products is a requirement. Strong use of Excel analytics.
• Candidate must possess a valid driver's license and a clear driving record.
• Must possess excellent organizational skills and must possess good public speaking skills.
• Must possess the mental and physical capacities necessary to perform the job duties; must be able to stand, sit, walk, lift up to 40 lbs., reach high and low, and bend.
• Flexible schedule required including nights, weekends, and holidays.
