JOB DESCRIPTION
The Townsquare Live Events Intern is responsible for assisting others with various tasks associated with producing music festivals (Headwaters Country Jam, Country Jam, Taste of Country, Mountain Jam, We Fest) and expos (Arizona Bridal Show, NJ Plant Show). This person will provide key support to the Events, Production, Operations, Administration and Accounting departments. This is a comprehensive position and the Intern will be exposed to many aspects of the event process. We are looking for a driven individual with a passion for events and live music.
OFFICE RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Support others by creating event documents and entering in details including, but not limited to: site location & venues, artist advance, schedules and event staff contact information.
2. General administrative support: file, organize, mail outgoing orders, maintain inventory
3. Upload event travel documents and update traveler contact information.
4. Responsible for editing, reviewing, and proofreading internal materials as needed.
5. Help update company database and Dropbox files as needed.
6. Assist Logistics Coordinator in researching flights & lodging and updating Travel Grids.
7. Research event vendors in various markets.
8. Assist other office staff with research, reporting, and document creation upon request.
9. Making calls to patrons regarding tickets and camping.
ON-SITE EVENT RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Support the Office Manager with any needs.
2. Assisting Guest Services in the box offices & working with inventory management.
3. General on site operational assistance.
QUALIFICATIONS
1. Reliable transportation to our Greenwich, CT office.
2. Eager to learn while being proactive.
3. Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
4. Willingness to travel to event should needs arise.
