OVERVIEW
An expanding studio with an international reputation seeks an organized, adaptable, detail-oriented individual with a strong work ethic and impeccable manners to join a motivated team as a full-time executive/personal assistant. We are looking for a someone who is committed to doing excellent, exacting work, and who is dependable, pleasant, and trustworthy. This is an ideal position for an experienced administrative/personal assistant who is interested in being part of an exciting and friendly environment within the art world. Candidates must live in the greater Los Angeles area.
REQUIREMENT:
• At least 2 years experience as Executive or Personal Assistant;
• Excellent organizational skills and time management skills, good common sense, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion and grace;
• Candidates must have a very good understanding of what it takes to effective support a person with a busy work and family life;
• Can-do attitude with a clear sense of what it means for a job to be completed and well-done;
• Strong writing skills with excellent grammar and spelling;
• Ability to work well under pressure, manage several tasks, and work extra hours if needed to meet deadlines;
• Candidates must be well-put together and have an enthusiastic attitude, common sense, be quick on their feet and reliable;
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Photoshop and InDesign a plus.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Supporting administrative needs for the artist to ensure his activities, appointments, and family needs run smoothly;
• Manage incoming email and mail, which includes responding when appropriate;
• Maintain the artist schedule, and plan all travel arrangements, including air, ground transportation, and hotels;
• Handle phone calls effectively and tactfully;
• Assist with coordination and management of house staff;
• Assistance with some personal errands, purchases, etc;
• Function as the artist first point of contact with people from both inside and outside the studio.
