Role/Purpose:
Autodesk is in the middle of a business model transformation moving away from perpetual licenses and legacy maintenance programs in favor of cloud-based solutions and subscription/term-based business models. We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic project manager to join the Finance Systems and Operations Transformation (FSOT) team to lead projects supporting this business model transformation. The project manager will collaborate with Finance teams and stakeholders outside of Finance including IT, global sales, supply chain, and customer support and product teams.
The project manager will lead teams charged with defining new business processes and implementing tools and technology in support of evolving business metrics (from core billings and revenue measures to subscriptions-related and ARR) consistent with Autodesk’s overall business model transition. The project manager should be comfortable with ambiguity, changes in direction and priorities, and demonstrate the ability to lead boldly in a rapidly changing environment.
This position reports to the Senior Manager, Finance PMO.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Develop strong stakeholder relationships and maintain effective communication channels.
• Work proactively with the business and IT to document Finance impacts, business requirements, implementation plans, etc. for projects.
• Apply experience to identify appropriate PM tools to manage resources, schedules and risks on projects. Develop realistic project plans and track completion of milestones.
• Proactively manage risk, anticipate potential issues and implement appropriate mitigations.
• Keep executive sponsors informed via status presentations as well as appropriate escalations.
• Manage through others; successfully influence cross-functional team members to achieve project goals.
• Support team members and establish healthy, collaborative relationships.
• Maintain enthusiasm, energy and focus in a variety of circumstances.
• Ability to self-manage and proactively organize and plan project activities and dependencies to achieve success.

Education/Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree required (finance, information systems, business, accounting preferred); MBA a plus
• 7+ years project and program management experience, including:
◦ Leading complex finance and reporting initiatives
◦ Large cross-functional IT implementations
◦ Business process reengineering
• Experience with finance systems and reporting, particularly in technology / software sector
