Overview and Responsibilities
Comedy Central is seeking a Department Assistant to support the SVP of Talent and Development specializing in Talent & Stand-Up. The candidate will have a variety of administrative and creative responsibilities including but, not limited to:
• Managing calendars and all incoming calls
• Draft deal memos
• Prepare expense reports
• Maintain tracking grids of talent Comedy Central works with
• Coverage of all submissions
• Provide feedback on projects in development and/or production
• Manage talent and VIP guest lists for productions and special events
• Scout talent at stand-up, sketch and improv venues in NY and provide coverage reports
• Source, prep and distribute talent gifts as needed
Basic Qualifications
• 1-3 years of administrative experience
• Excellent PC skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook)
Additional Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree perferred
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Professional phone skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
• Good organizational and follow-up skills
