Founded by our Creative Director Mia Galison over 20 years ago eeBoo has a reputation for high-quality, wonderfully aesthetic, and creative products.
We are currently looking for a Sales & Marketing Assistant.
Duties will include but may not be limited to:
Account Management
• Manage in house accounts and relationships via heavy contact and follow-up with buyers for major retailers, under the supervision of Domestic Sales Manager & International Sales Manager. This requires both building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
• Fill out vendor forms with product info for international distributors/domestic customers.
• Ship and track product samples/catalogs to prospective customers, ensure they arrive safely and look attractive to buyers.
• Understand and manage account-specific shipping logistics, including product labeling, packing instructions, and time-sensitive order tracking and invoicing requested by accounts.
Develop New Business
• Identify and pursue new accounts in order to meet or exceed sales quotas.
•Make sales calls to our existing customer base of retailers and independent boutiques
Admin and Sales Support
• Monitor calendar dates & deadlines to ensure various projects deliver on time
• Run and format pre-programmed sales reports on a scheduled basis.
• Various Customer Service tasks: taking phone orders, faxing/emailing invoices, helping customers and reps with questions regarding products or their orders.
.• Support International Sales Manager and National Sales Manager with various tasks as needed, contribute sales ideas and brainstorm with team to acquire new business.
• Support Production Manager with various tasks as needed such as purchase order entry, SKU maintenance, product spec spreadsheet maintenance.
• Data entry and Excel-based projects.
Tradeshows
• .• Manage trade show planning, preparation, and logistics, including set up and breakdown. Attend and help to drive sales during the shows by working the show floor in a personable and enthusiastic manner.
.• Willingness to travel to tradeshows
REQUIREMENTS:
• 1-2 years of related experience necessary
• Extreme accuracy and attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Office and Word
• Excellent writing, communication and interpersonal skills
• Friendly, prompt, courteous, and absolutely reliable
• Ability to multitask and prioritize time-sensitive assignments
• Comfortable working for more than one manager and communicating across departments
• Creative and flexible
• Previous experience with production, trade shows, sales or retail are all a plus.
• Appreciation of children's toys and excellent design a plus.
