Job Description:
The VP, Digital Strategy is responsible for recommending and developing digital solutions that successfully integrate with traditional media activity and help deliver client goals. Through partnership with the Brand Team business leads, the VP, Digital Strategy will develop channel solutions that drive business results. This position will be responsible for building trust and maintaining client relationships, presenting agency capabilities, preparing and winning approval for long-term strategies and short-term media plans. He/she will serve as a strategic leader across the division for digital strategy needs, collaborating with Digital Activation, Search, Analytics, Social Media and Affiliate Marketing team members.

• Generate creative and progressive ideas, from high level strategic thinking down to the tactical level, within context of holistic media landscape
• Guide clients and internal teams in education of evolving concepts and masterful digital executions within the industry, acting as trusted and sought out resource for clients and agency team members
• Maintain a positive and efficient relationship between the BT and AT, as well as media and agency partners, driving collaboration among all parties
• Utilize powerful analytic abilities, keeping up to date with new data and technology in the digital space
• Manage the entire path to purchase funnel and develop test & learn solutions designed for increasing KPIs
• Oversee client contracts and staffing needs
Supervisory Responsibilities
• Drive performance and growth of the Digital Brand team by setting and maintaining goals, project tasks, and timelines. The VP of Digital Strategy must ensure that all client needs are being met by their team, and that quality relationships between HMI and clients remain consistent.
• VP, Digital Strategy must also serve as one of the primary interfaces with the Digital Activation team, ensuring that campaigns are being activated effectively to meet client goals. Maintaining an efficient workflow between the two teams is integral.
• Manage performance review of team, coaching to maximize success, identifying training needs for improved performance, setting goals for career development and ensuring actions are taken
Knowledge and Skills Required
• A minimum of 10+ years of recent Digital experience
• Clear understanding of building brands and driving acquisition
• Ability to demonstrate test and learn solutions
• Effective communicator / collaborator
◦ Technical knowledge of all digital media platforms, inclusive of mobile and social media across earned, owned and paid initiatives
• Direct client interaction experience
• Cross platform planning experience is value added
