Job Description
Overview:
This position requires a highly motivated, entrepreneurial person to lead day to day campaign management on the Oracle account, overseeing digital strategic plan development and all aspects of execution. This individual will define, design and deliver Zenith’s vision of ROI+ as a mantra and help champion that spirit to their team, while positioning Zenith Media as an Interactive strategy leader.

Zenith has a long partnership with Oracle, and leads the global business out of Chicago, coordinating with regional Zenith offices in Singapore and London. We also provide Oracle with a “Power of One” Publicis Solution, working closely with our sister creative agency Leo Burnett on all Oracle production and creative.
Further to this, Oracle is a constantly growing business through acquisition, having bought brands like BlueKai, Eloqua, Responsys, NetSuite, Moat and Micros – which allows the team to work on a range of different strategies and campaigns, targeting different audiences across the nation and world.
Responsibilities:
• Guide & drive media strategies for Oracle and help to set overall objectives
• Build, maintain and grow client relationships and client business
• Responsible for the oversight, authorship and presentation of media documents (timelines, POVs, RFPs, plans, agreements, client memos, and correspondence from within and outside the agency)
◦ Supervise, direct and review the development and implementation of specified media plans by planners & assistants
• Perform in-depth target analysis activities including analyzing site information and demographics particular to client needs
• Perform scheduled optimization efforts for online media campaigns as well as troubleshoot, ad delivery, and ad performance
• Ensure key information is provided to team in a timely manner including any client issues, internal agency issues, vendor issues, etc
• Provide and/or guide strategic input for all plans internally and externally
• Help set negotiation strategies
• Build and maintain relationships with media publishers and internal agency counterparts
• Demonstrate problem solving and intervention when necessary
• Play active role in major media pitches for new business
• Understand and adopt new media trends and/or processes for clients and for Zenith Media
• Maintain a knowledge of all ad serving platforms across platform: Medialets, Vindico, DFA
• Review site invoices and work with Accounting and Account Services to ensure accurate payment and prepare campaign reconciliations
• Assist in developing Zenith Media team members into highly respected and trusted team members by helping to grow their skill-sets and thought-processes
◦ Motivate, develop, train and help to evaluate team members
• Knowledge-sharing with all team members for best practices
• Continuously search for opportunities to be positive and to share the positive side to every situation
• Accurate and timely reporting of billable and non-billable time for self and direct reports
Qualifications
• A minimum of 3-4 years of online media planning and negotiating experience in an interactive agency
• Bachelor’s Degree in advertising, marketing or related program a plus
• Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills
• A complete knowledge of interactive marketing concepts and practices as well as a familiarity with offline media concepts
• Strong mathematic and analytical skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Experience with 3rd Party Adserver (DFA Certified preferred)
• Working knowledge of online research tools such as Nielsen, @Plan, AdRelevance and other media software tools
• The ability to multi-task on numerous accounts, often with minimal direction
• Experience analyzing complex data, market research, and formulating actionable plans
• Effective time management and organizational skills, as well as strong attention to detail
• The ability to work well with a team; function as a leader, and also work independently
