The job:
We’re looking for a team player with a great attitude and courteous personality to assist our Mid Market Sales Team. The ideal candidate will be a recent graduate or someone with 1-2 years of previous experience. We need someone who’s has a go-getter personality and is excited by the idea of working at Time Inc.
You will:
• Determine account eligibility for the Mid Market team, scrubbing lead list data with Salesforce.com
• Analyze third party reporting sources, matching accounts with internal systems for appropriate sales coverage
• Handle inbound lead request volume and align to appropriate sales representatives
• Communicate over email or phone with potential prospective external clients to determine if appropriate match for sales coverage
• Input orders into BOSS or other tools for booking deals
• Provide administrative support to the team as necessary
• Coordinate meetings as well as help prepare each sales person for the sales call, including pulling issues, researching the brand’s social media sites and the brand website
• Occasionally, coordinate & manage Client Special Events and support Team Events/Marketing projects
• Book new and revised insertion orders
• Update/maintain 3rd party vendor subscriptions (e.g. eMarketer)
• Become proficient with all Time Inc. internal online resources (i.e. Consumer Marketing Research, Time Inc. intranet, Travel and Expense website)
You are:
• Proactive, organized, detail oriented and a self-starter with excellent communication skills (oral and written)
• Someone who can work independently, but also works well within a group and can help prioritize projects
• Able to work under pressure and switch gears quickly in order to respond to staff and customer requests with efficiency
• A candidate with excellent computer skills -- PC Windows, MSWord, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook proficiency. Prior experience with Salesforce is preferred.
• Someone with previous digital and print media sales experience, specifically familiar with assisting sales reps in tracking goals
