Senior Publisher Development Manager
TiVo is looking for a Senior Publisher Development Manager to join our growing Advertising team in New York City. This role is responsible for the development of new strategic partnerships and managing relationships with existing TV publishers, programmers and MVPD partners. The Senior Publisher Development Manager will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of the partner relationship including on-boarding, day-to-day management and supporting expansion efforts. This is a highly visible role within the company, fostering growth and collaboration with our advertising inventory partners. You will be working closely with a fast-paced cross-functional team including product management, engineering, operations, sales, and research & analytics all focused on growing the advertising business.
What you’ll be responsible for:
• Lead strategy, communication, and overall relationship management with top advertising publishers/partners
• Guide the relationship with a focus on building long-term partnerships, highlighting new opportunities, and providing support in growing the partners revenue
• Fully understand the partner’s objectives, effectively communicate them internally, and formulate strategies to help TiVo meet these goals
• Work cross-functionally to identify and implement growth opportunities for the partners and ensure team is working effectively to resolve any issues on behalf of the partners
• Provide partners with visibility & transparency in all aspects of our relationship
• Collect and synthesize industry feedback and intelligence, and surface product requests based on partner research and intelligence
• Run thoughtful, data driven Quarterly Business Reviews
• Identify new opportunities, build business cases, and influence leaders to pursue new advertising relationships or products
Experience/Qualifications:
• BS/BA required.
• Experience building and managing relationships with TV publishers, programmers and MVPD partners
• Experience in the advertising industry (preferably in both digital & TV)
• Great organization skills. You are capable of handling a multitude of projects at one time while still having a grasp on the individual details of each partner’s needs.
• Great time management skills. Ensure that all projects are tracking properly to minimize issues (missed deliveries, payments, etc.)
• Excellent communication skills. You can communicate ideas and project goals to partners and internal stakeholders, including executive management
• Demonstrable passion and intellectual curiosity, passion for learning technology.
• Familiarity with OTT, online media buying and selling, programmatic advertising technology solutions are a plus.
