Description
Essential Functions:
1. Performs regulatory, financial, operational, and special audits. Assesses compliance with governmental and jurisdictional regulatory requirements, financial accounting and auditing standards, and company policies to ensure company assets are safeguarded.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Four-year degree in accounting from an Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (“AACSB”) accredited college or university; or, possess any other four-year degree and is a CIA, CPA, CISA, CFE, or CAMS. A CIA, CPA, CISA, CFE, or CAMS certification is required as of June 1, 2019; or by four years from date of hire after June 1, 2015. Other certifications will be considered on a case by case basis. Actively pursuing a certification is a plus.
2. Experience in internal audit, public accounting, casino accounting, information technology auditing, or related business experience preferred.
3. Proficient with computer software, including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. Experience with data mining is a plus.
4. Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written skills to communicate effectively with Team Members, management, regulators, independent accountants, and guests. Required: MUST BE A TEAM PLAYER! This position requires strong soft skills.
Physical Requirements:
5. Ability to work in confined spaces (small offices or cubicles), which may be hot, cold, and/or noisy.
6. Ability to work at any Station Casinos property within the Las Vegas Valley, as assigned.
