Description
This position supports the Senior Vice-President of Finance on FP&A, Financial & Management Reporting with responsibilities across 3 Fox Networks Group divisions: Networks Operations & Engineering, Digital Consumer Group and Advanced Ad Products.
Responsibilities
• Scope and execute a variety of high-profile analytic projects linked to key strategic goals, often using Excel models or other quantitative tools.
• Provide deep analytics and communicate effectively to senior business team leaders.
• Analyze new business ideas, provide data intensive analyses to drive decision making and make analytical judgments.
• Assists in designing, creating, and implementing new functional reporting as required to meet business needs, new requirements, and improved reporting.
• Use strong business acumen and financial knowledge to prepare analysis and provide insight to business performance.
• Structure and create reports on key performance indicators.
• Leads, organizes, and executes new projects as assigned by the SVP of Finance to develop business process improvements and new system functionality.
• Coordinate across various groups including Networks and other Divisions, finance, tax, treasury, and Corporate accounting functions.
• Execute a variety of additional quantitative analysis as needed. Perform variance research and ad hoc analysis.
• Organizes financial information and prepares management reports in a format that can be quickly reviewed by management.
• Prepare presentation decks and other materials to share findings.
• Lead and manage special projects for financial consolidation, financial modeling and reporting. Work closely with cross functional teams to drive the project and meet the necessary timeline. Report updates on milestones on a regular basis.
• Take full ownership of the execution of the project from inception to closure.
• Identifies potential process improvements to increase efficiency in processing or analyzing financial information.
• Maintain regular communication with internal and external customers to ensure all parties receive excellent customer service at all times.
• Conducts research and gathers all necessary information for the SVP of Finance prior to meetings and events.
• Tracks, anticipates, and prepares for upcoming deadlines, events, and agenda items that require action by the SVP of Finance.
• Maintains accurate follow-up system to monitor outstanding matters in connection with financial reporting, financial analysis, management reporting and ad hoc projects across divisions.
• Support SVP of finance with a variety of SOX audits, COUPA set up, VOB audits, Insurance requests, cash releases and other Corporate requirements.
Qualifications
• BA/BS required.
• 5 plus years in finance or related roles with progressively increasing levels of responsibility.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, to effectively present to peers and management.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously and drive projects to completion.
• This position requires interaction with all levels of employees, from senior management to clerical, in a positive and professional manner. Strong leadership skills and track record of effective teamwork and achieving results through influence, and collaboration.
• Exceptional analytic skills and a demonstrated ability to build financial models for business forecasting, variance analysis, and problem solving.
• Experience performing financial and ad hoc analyses using advanced Excel functionality and providing recommendations based on results to senior management for strategic decision-making.
• Ability to synthesize complex business and financials in simple drivers and connect financials to business story and translate to actionable items.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
• Experience analyzing large, complex databases.
• Hard worker and quick learner, able to prioritize high volume of strategic questions in a fast-paced environment.

The Fox Networks Engineering and Operations Group (NE&O) is the group that is singularly responsible for the receipt, uplink, delivery and distribution of all networks wholly or partially owned by FOX, Inc. NE&O is a 24/7 mission critical operation which supports business units in seven distinct locations - three (3) in Los Angeles, California (Pico, Playa del Rey and 1440 Sepulveda); one (1) in The Woodlands, TX; one (1) in San Francisco, CA; one in Charlotte, NC; and one (1) in New York, NY.
