Description
Forbes Media is looking fora dynamic Brand Strategist to provide pre-sale resourcing including content development, pricing, and packaging.
In this role, the candidate will collaborate with platform content leads, sales reps, and integrated marketing team members to provide best in class sponsored content opportunities.
Responsibilities
• Creative product expert and single pre-sale point of contact for sponsored content including working with content team leads on ideas and execution logistics.
• Leads development, writeups and approvals of sponsored content ideas/products across Edit, Video, BrandVoice, Social, and Insights.
• Collaborates with content team leads to enhance and connect the overall sponsored content offerings.
• Responsible for identifying and developing consistency across all sponsored content packages.
• Develops sponsored content packages including pricing and markets proactive ideas to internal sales/marketing.
• Coordinates with post sales content team, ensuring consistency in pre to post-sale transition.
• Identifies new and innovative partnership opportunities and products.
• Responsible for identifying innovative products and partnerships that lead to new sponsored content offerings.
• Leads the creation of materials showcasing sponsored content programs including awards submissions, case studies, and sizzle reels.
Requirements
• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in cross-platform media, creative strategy, and content creation. Background in video a plus.
• Must have experience developing and executing multi-platform programming that leverages media, content (video experience required), and social.
• Creative thinker with excellent writing, communication, and follow through skills.
• Experience working in collaborative sales and marketing processes, including the interaction and strategy required in an advertising sales environment - working across varying departments, teams, and personalities.
• Detail oriented with ability to anticipate needs, innovate, and multitask and excel in a fast-paced environment.
• A deep understanding of the current social, branded content, digital, mobile and tablet landscapes.
• Pricing and/or Product Packaging experience is a plus.
• Passion for new technologies and new media.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, cloud shared services (Gsuite, box, etc)
