We're looking for an Alliances and Partnerships Director to join our team in NYC!
The Alliances and Partnerships Director will shape and sell the global offering for the world’s largest verification, optimization and analytics company, Integral Ad Science. This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment backed by an established technology company with global brand recognition.
This person will develop and implement strategy to sell into key U.S. media agencies, trading desks consultancies, and other demand-side vendors to expand this key revenue stream.
This individual understands that the world of traditional digital media sales is shifting and is well versed in the programmatic nuances of RTB, platforms, automation, second-price auctions and industry disruption, in addition to having strong contacts within the programmatic community (advertiser, agencies, trading desks, DSPs, SSPs and Exchanges). The role requires both operational and strategic skills to ramp up the programmatic pipeline in a rapidly changing environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Engage senior management of agencies and customers to understand business goals in order to structure sales agreements that grows revenue
• Build a sustainable business pipeline, accurately forecasting revenue growth to help achieve budget both directly and via the existing Brand and Agency Sales teams
• Actively pitch and grow strategic relationships with agency trading desks, holding companies and key clients
• Drive awareness of IAS with key industry players in order to promote the reach and value of our audience
• Measure, analyze and communicate a detailed metrics report for senior management.
• Stay current on all industry trends related to programmatic buying and selling across all formats and provide internal recommendations, as relevant.
• Act as company spokesperson at key industry events and Integral Ad Science’s events, position IAS as a credible strategic partner in the marketplace
• Maintain detailed knowledge of audience and data standard ad products, and effectively communicate value proposition to potential clients
• Gather market feedback and provide consistent updates to product to drive innovation
Key Capabilities and Experience
• 7-10 years of digital or enterprise sales experience including 5+ years in an ad tech, SaaS or programmatic
• Demonstrated success in achieving sales revenue targets
• A positive role model with excellent data, tech and relationship-building skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to successfully execute cross-team; commands respect internal/external stakeholders
• Exceptional ability to analyze performance data and make compelling recommendations for internal strategy, as well as client buying and optimization recommendations.
• A track record developing and maintaining advertiser relationships and consistently meeting or exceeding quota. Experience with negotiating complex deals that meet strategic revenue goals.
• Resourceful and responsive to change – thrives in a fast-paced environment with a strong sense of urgency
• Excellent written, verbal and listening communication skills; strong PowerPoint and Excel skills
• BA/BS degree in media, digital marketing, finance or equivalent experience
• Must be able to travel up to 25%
