Job Title: Business Analyst
Location: One Market St., San Francisco, CA
The Role
Are you excited about the subscription economy and usage-based pricing? Do you have a knack for answering tough analytical questions? Then we’re looking for you to be our next Business Analyst. In this role, you’ll analyze customer data to understand how our products are used. You’ll utilize this data to help determine the structure of a usage-based business model and how it complements our existing subscription business models. You will analyze the performance of our existing business models and recommend improvements. You’ll conduct research and analysis to help Autodesk chart the course for the next generation of business models. You will be on the leading edge of the next phase of business model evolution in the software industry.
Your responsibilities:
1. Analyze usage data: develop an understanding of how frequently customers are utilizing Autodesk’s software. Utilize this data to assess potential pricing and packaging strategies, and ultimately determine the overall financial impact of launching a usage-based business model.
2. Support quarterly business reviews: pull data and conduct analysis of recent business model performance and identify areas for improvement
3. Track industry and competitive trends: collect market and competitive data to understand how usage-based business models are evolving across multiple industries

About You
• 3+ years of consulting, pricing, or analytics experience
• B.S. in a quantitative discipline
• Understand subscription and usage-based business models
• Logical thinker and can confidently communicate your ideas
• Proven analytical skills; Excel guru and can use other tools such as Tableau, QlikSense, or Looker
• Love to learn and not afraid to try new things or challenge the status quo
• Passionate about data; not only are you a steward of data quality and understand the nuances, you love digging into it and developing new insights
