Job Title: Project Coordinator
Job Summary:
The Project Coordinator is responsible for participating as a team member on the implementation of a variety of Corporate Physical Security related projects. The Project Coordinator will utilize strategic and creative thinking and problem solving skills in addition to standard project management tactical skills to accomplish project and departmental goals. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating deployment and operational activities for the Corporate Physical Security Department. This includes training, reporting, system implementation, vendor relationships, integration, as well as assisting in budget preparation.
This position is responsible for completing various work packages related to physical security projects assigned to the Physical Security Operations team. For any given project, the Project Coordinator could be responsible for creation of documentation, financial management, policies, procedures, etc., creation of metrics or status reports, creation of training materials, and any other project related work associated with project completion. The Project Coordinator will work in conjunction with the other Corporate Physical Security team members to define goals, timelines and costs for all projects and initiatives.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
• Assists with the daily management of Corporate Physical Security Operations as needed
• Coordinates data associated with physical security investigations including the use and reporting through various incident reporting systems
• Communicates with internal and external resources
• Data management
• Develops / creates / publishes a wide range of metrics and presentations
• Provides administrative support in all areas needed
• Maintains and updates Corporate Physical Security Policies and Procedures
• Maintains and manages the Corporate Physical Security SharePoint site
• Research Corporate Physical Security incidents for tracking, tending and analysis.
• Performs other job-related duties as needed
Required Qualifications:
Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project, Visio, Access and SharePoint
• Strong interpersonal & communication skills
• Ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external (3rd party) organizations
• Must have effective communication skills both in writing and verbal (position requires significant interface with all levels of internal and external customers)
• Must be able and willing to take initiative and handle various tasks simultaneously while working efficiently, effectively, and independently under minimal supervision
• Must be able to multi-task overseeing several projects
Education:
BS or BA in Security, Business, IT or related field
Preferred Qualifications:
• Strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Strong business analysis, definition, and design skills
• Understanding of project management methodologies
• Ability to respond to frequent pressure to meet deadlines
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others
• Ability to respond to frequent demands of multiple customers (internal and external)
• Ability to manage multiple projects and assignments at the same time
• Ability to work harmoniously and effectively as part of a team
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Proficient with Tableau
