Overview
Sony Music is looking for a Coordinator to join the Talent Acquisition team where you will be exposed to all areas of this dynamic, creative business. Your role, reporting into the Director of Talent Acquisition, will be broad and will include research, engagement (externally with candidates and internally with hiring managers) and supporting the TA team. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Talent Acquisition:
• Candidate research
• Applicant screening
• Preparing presentation decks
• Interpreting data and themes
• Improving processes where possible
• Recruitment, onboarding and offboarding of intern program and other talent initiatives; event planning; and support of the executive referral program
• Intern recruitment and outreach
Administrative:
• Candidate outreach
• Interview scheduling
• Conducting reference checks
• Preparing and sending out offer letters
• Processing invoices when needed
• Processing expenses when needed
Qualifications:
• The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Management, Communications or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
• One year of prior administrative experience is required and prior experience in the music/entertainment industry is preferred
• Prior internship or professional experience in a Human Resources or Talent Acquisition department is also strongly preferred
• Strong computer skills including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook) and a strong knowledge of the Internet (search tools, social networking tools, etc.) as well as the ability to pick up new computer programs/systems/applications quickly

• Interest in and understanding of both the HR practice as well as the music business.

• Ability to prioritize, multi-task and work efficiently
