Finance Business Partner, Design and Creation Products
Position Location: One Market Street, San Francisco, CA, USA
The Role
Our team supports the Design and Creation Products (DCP) division, a newly-formed group that houses all of Autodesk’s major products in the manufacturing, building and infrastructure and media and entertainment industries. This role will partner with and support the leadership teams of some of our flagship product groups (e.g. AutoCAD, Revit, Inventor, etc.).
You will: (i) be the face of Finance to the business, (ii) own the reporting, budgeting and forecasting process, (iii) provide financial analyses to communicate key business insights and (iv) counsel senior business leaders on financial decisions.
DCP’s products represent the majority of Autodesk’s revenues and this role offers the opportunity to really make an impact on the Company in the near term!

• 5+ years of finance experience,
• Strong business judgment and able to frame issues in the context of the big picture,
• Excellent communicator and can build strong relationships with senior business leaders,
• Ability to influence senior business leaders, peers and cross-functional teams,

• Self-starter that can manage projects without a lot of supervision,

How You’d Spend Your Day
Partnering: You’ll be embedded among our DCP product groups, providing counsel on how to allocate resources to achieve intended strategic outcomes.
Example: Advising business leaders on decisions that align with their most pressing priorities, in the face of various competing projects and limited resources.
Initiating and creating insightful financial analyses: Your business partners rely on you to help consider various business cases and scenarios. You are the point person for building detailed financial models, extracting insights, and providing concise, actionable recommendations.
Example: Evaluating the merits, drawbacks, and financial implications of establishing a new initiative or product line/group in a different region of the world.
Managing a sizeable spend portfolio: You’ll actively manage budgeting, interim forecasting and execution of several teams’ spend portfolios.
Example: Identifying business’s needs, creating and updating a 12-24 month flexible spend plan/forecast, and guiding teams through execution.
Driving strategic projects and initiatives: You’ll lead cross-functional projects throughout DCP and the broader worldwide finance organization.
Example: Collaborating with business leaders and corporate stakeholders to scope, secure budget, and execute build out/operations of next-generation fabrication facility.
