Throughout our 20-year history, Insomniac has produced almost 400 festivals, concerts and club nights for over 4 million attendees in California, Colorado, Florida, Nevada, New York, Texas, Puerto Rico, and the United Kingdom, with expansions into Brazil and Japan. Insomniac’s premier annual event, Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas, is the largest multi-day music festival in North America, and attracted more than 400,000 fans over three days in June 2016. The company was founded by Pasquale Rotella, and has been based in Los Angeles since it was formed in 1993.
THE ROLE
The Customer Experience team is an evolution of our online customer service initiatives. We are bridging the gap between online communication and on-site Headliner needs before, during and after an event. Our team streamlines festival and concert informational operations that will result in improved experiences for our attendees. The success of our team relies on passionate and knowledgeable team members who have a vision to help us improve our events show after show. We are seeking a highly motivated and proactive intern to help us develop our vision. This position reports to the Customer Experience Manager and Specialist.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Work alongside CX team on day-to-day department functions and help develop festival season timelines
• Research emerging customer centered trends within and outside of the live music industry to propose improvements and best practices
• Help develop online customer service workflows and suggest best practices
• Analyze various data channels and assist in data tasks
• Participate in weekly brainstorms to improve onsite concert/festival operations
• Understand and assist during full-cycle festival recruitment and staffing
• Assist in processing project management efforts within department
QUALIFICATIONS
• Must be 18 years of age and currently enrolled in an accredited college, university or trade school
• Must provide documentation from school that you will be receiving college credit for internship
• Must be able to work out of Beverly Hills, CA office at least two days a week for four hours each day
• Typical commitment is 10-16 hours per week
• Well versed in online tools and is “computer savvy”
• Experience working with various online software
• Must be motivated with an “Everything is possible” attitude
• Must be an active problem solver, instilled with a sense of urgency for projects large and small
• Knowledge and interested in dance music and Insomniac’s brands
