The Role:
The Head of Integrated Marketing will provide leadership across a variety of sales and marketing services for Live Nation’s advertising partners. The ideal candidate will build tailored and actionable solutions for advertisers leveraging Live Nation’s assets. This department lead will build a culture of trust, partnership, communication, and excellence internally, leading by example. She/He will provide a vision that aligns with our company mission and will spearhead strategic initiatives to accomplish this vision. This job reports directly to the President and will work closely with the Chief Operating Officer and senior sales, account and product management teams.
Responsibilities:
• Lead a growing department that includes research, insights, strategy, creative, production and studio services.
• Oversee development of innovative, data-driven ideas for advertisers looking to redefine the relationship with audiences and music, offering solutions across digital to live experiences
• Lead strategy for Media & Sponsorship sales and B2B marketing presentations
• Create custom programs and presentations that sell and make extensive use of company research
• Work with the senior management to raise the close rate of new business
• Build annual advertising sponsorship calendar in conjunction with sales and marketing leads
• Partner with senior leadership to create unique positioning for our assets across key spending categories
• Understand and execute creative and well-choreographed client presentations
• Understand the needs of clients and agencies and be able to deliver to both without alienating either
• Develop custom metrics and tracking programs as necessary
• Develop go-to-market strategy and execution for the companies top accounts
• Live Nation is growing in branded content and influencer marketing and these capabilities will be integrated in all go-to-market presentations
• Data is a key pillar of the Live Nation’s go-to-market strategy and this executive must understand how to integrate our data capabilities into all presentations
Qualifications:
• BA, preferably in Business or Marketing; MBA preferred
• 10 + years of progressively complex marketing experience in the advertising sector with at least 5 years’ experience in a field facing role.
• Proven track record developing and executing ground-breaking, revenue driving strategies, programs and partnerships for world class brands
• Very strong written communication skills; exceptional presentation skills (visual design oversight, talk track development & oral presentation)
• Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams and third parties
• Media agency experience and/or digital publisher experience a plus
• Passion for helping overcome business challenges and solving complex problems
• Strong business acumen to spearhead daily business management and strategic commercial vision of the company
• Must be a competent leader, teacher and mentor for others
• Robust knowledge of integrated workflows and inter-office operations
• Intimate knowledge of core disciplines and capabilities, including account management, finance, strategy, creative, human resources, project management and editorial
• Proven track record of developing collaborative relationships through gaining trust and successful delivery
• Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills
• Ability to communicate effectively under high-pressure situations
• Creative problem-solver
• Stellar negotiation skills
