Assist in financial planning, analysis and forecasting for the Gaming division. Manage activities necessary to provide management with analytics including daily reporting, dashboards and KPI’s to report overall business trends. Coordinate with finance to ensure all trending, monthly reconciliations and external reporting are aligned with the requirements of the business.
Essential Job Functions:
• Provide cross functional support across all product lines to assist in the forecasting process and the consolidation of forecasts into Hyperion Planning.
• Coordinate with executive management to provide reporting dashboards and KPI’s related to operational trends and regional analytics.
• Forecast and monitor material planning needs in comparison to current and long range company forecasts. Identity key areas of concern and report back to operations.
• Track trends and forecasts related to SHFL products with the ability to create new reporting as required.
• Work closely with international offices to consolidate regional data, monitor forecasts and track operational efficiencies.
• Review analyst reports and external data to gather insight into the overall business strategy and trends and prepare presentations as needed.
• Requires the ability to grasp complex business requirements and translate them into new analytics to increase data visibility to the organization.
Position Requirements
Qualifications
Education
• Bachelor’s Degree
• 3-5 Years’ experience with financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting.
◦ Emphasis in Gaming or Finance preferred but not required.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
• Proficient with all Microsoft products.
◦ Advanced MS Excel skills required
◦ Knowledge of Hyperion Planning / Smart View desired.
• Database knowledge using Access or SQL preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Power BI preferred but not required.
• Ability to present forecasts, analytics and dashboards in a clear and concise manner.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills across all levels of the organization.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and procedures.
• Comfortable working under tight deadlines.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
