The Learning Specialist will work collaboratively with the overall Learning team and business leaders to provide effective learning delivery. The Learning Specialist is a key player in aligning the goals of the business, the needs of the employee, and ultimately customer satisfaction. Primary responsibilities of this position will include facilitation of soft/technical skills, product knowledge and delivery of our sales model, curriculum development and maintenance, assessment creation, logistical tasks including LMS completion reporting. Instruction will be delivered via all types of modalities, including Instructor-led and virtual classroom facilitation. Strong consultation (ability to provide and receive meaningful feedback) leadership, teamwork, flexibility and project management skills are essential. The goal is for learners to effectively transfer knowledge from the classroom to the workplace.
The Learning Specialist will ensure all employees exceed expectations on classroom evaluations, presentations and assessments. The Learning Specialist will ensure that all activities are properly documented and maintained utilizing the appropriate tools and LMS systems (i.e. Agility, SharePoint etc.). This position will require up to 50% travel to various office locations within in the Altice footprint. The Learning Specialist must also possess a consistent positive mindset and change management skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Education, Training & Development or related degree.
• A minimum of three (3) years’ experience delivering training sessions, including live group presentations-Sales experience preferred
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong verbal and professional written communication skills are required
• Previous experience utilizing LMS systems.
• Experience developing, delivering, and managing multi-channel training, classroom and webinar. Knowledge of virtual facilitation tools preferred. Must be able to adapt to webinar format for teaching in a virtual environment.
• A unique combination of leadership, consulting, training design and delivery, and facilitation skills are required.
• Candidate must possess excellent time management, prioritization, and organizational skills.
• Must have the ability to multitask and be comfortable while working in a very fast-paced, ever-changing, high energy and enthusiastic environment.
• Candidate must be able to work independently, possess strong problem-solving skills and promote teamwork and collaboration.
• Travel requirements up to 50% within the Altice Footprint.
