Position at Taymark, Inc.
Taymark Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Rep for our Customer Service Center Department. This position is responsible for taking incoming calls, supporting customer accounts via telephone, email, chat and fax. Provide consultative support by cross-selling our products, general customer service other related duties assigned. You will need the ability to multi-task and work well in a fast paced environment on a daily basis.
Shift Available
• Shift is Monday – Friday between 8:00 am – 5:30 pm. Additional hours may be required during peak seasons.
Responsibilities Include:
• Working with outside vendors
• Customer interaction and assisting customer on received orders
• Processing incoming orders in a timely manner. Enters exact and changed repeat orders in to the computer system.
• Enter outside purchase orders in to the computer system
• Follow up on orders to assure delivery to customer as promised
• Responds to customer’s need for expediting orders. Researches incorrect shipments or quality concerns. Works with appropriate staff to resolve problems. Processes returns, credits and reprints as appropriate.
• Assist customers with website navigation.
• Backs up other support staff as needed
Minimum Qualifications:
• Completion of high school (or GED); prefer post high school education in business including training in PC skills, word processing and spreadsheet applications.
• Three to five years of prior customer service experience, prefer prior industry related customer service experience.
• Excellent verbal and communication skills are necessary in dealing with customers, accounts reps and managers. Telephone communication skills. Ability to develop relationships with customer based on strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Good written communication skills to professionally communicate with customers, account reps and managers via email.
• Time management, organization and follow-through skills. Ability to work independently.
• Ability to work under pressure of order deadlines and with constant interruptions.
• Ability to lean product, pricing and company policy information.
• Basic computer skills.
