Position at Taylor Communications
Taylor Communications is seeking a Production Assembly & Support II employee in Livermore, CA facility. The position is responsible for Assembly, binding, and/or packaging materials and products manually. Performs basic quality control checks including measuring, weighing, strength testing, package counts, and evaluating product or package appearance.
Shift Available
• Monday-Friday
• 5:30 am to 2:00 pm
Responsibilities Include:
• Reading and following specific job instructions.
• Following all OSHA and other safety requirements.
• Meeting all standards in quality, productivity, waste, attendance, program participation and core values.
• Maintaining equipment – daily and periodic cleanings.
• Maintaining accurate records.
Minimum Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED
• Mechanical background or aptitude
• Previous experience working in a production environment
• Ability to read and follow instructions on work order
• Ability to differentiate between colors
• Ability to use a computer and to do perform basic math functions
• Attention to detail
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
• Willingness to work overtime, including weekends, to meet customer demand
