The Role:
The ideal Business Marketing Director will have a strong approach to strategic marketing, is disciplined and collaborative, and has a unique ability to navigate through even the most complex companies to win over senior-level decision makers. This person is a true creator, extremely motivated, driven, and extremely capable of manifesting new business opportunities and greater exposure for Live Nation.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute direct marketing plans and support materials to drive exposure of ways to partner with Live Nation
• Work with internal stakeholders to develop partnership value proposition and brand identity
• Build and execute a strategic go-to-market plan for clients to be exposed to Live Nation’s expertise (i.e. build website, lead generation and CRM strategy, search marketing optimization, blog, social)
• Manage and execute Live Nation’s B2B industry conferences/events plan
• Maintain deadlines and deliverables for marketing and media schedules
• Support content calendar creation and campaign development
• Define and measure KPIs for B2B marketing
• Collaborate closely with various departments, including creative, client sales, content, communications/PR, and product management.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 8 years of experience as a seasoned marketer in Music, Media, Brand Marketing or sales driven environment; Agency and client side experience preferred
• BA Degree required; Degree in Marketing preferred.
• Insights driven, innovative; understanding of a wide variety of audiences (from brands to agencies to media), champions breakthrough ideas and initiatives
• A creative storyteller that understands how to drive a brand through the creation of a compelling narrative
• Excellent strategic, analytical, creative and leadership skills
• Entrepreneurial in approach and comfortable in a “startup” environment
• Strong knowledge base of brand marketing and advertisers, in both live experiences and the digital space
• Strong people and project management skills, excellence in execution, aligns key stakeholders, prioritizes, collaborative with cross-functional partners
• Highly organized, detail conscious leader with the ability to manage timelines, teams, executive management and budgets
