Licensing Associate Project Manager, ESPORTS
Blizzard Entertainment is looking for an associate project manager to join the Consumer Products department. The CP team extends the Blizzard Entertainment brands to consumer products via licensing partnerships and direct channel experiences through online, events, and retail.
The position will work closely with Head of eSports Licensing to plan, schedule, and oversee all internal stakeholder communications, product development and delivery of physical consumer goods. The ideal candidate has some project management experience, is extremely detail oriented, and has 2-4 years of experience working within the consumer products industry. This position will report to the Head of eSports Licensing.
Responsibilities
• Collaborate with stakeholders in defining project scope, gathering requirements, and kicking off projects
• Create and maintain project schedules
• Actively track and manage schedules to ensure tasks are completed to required specifications and delivered on time
• Manage all communications follow-up (day-to-day and periodic) with multiple levels of stakeholders.
• Create project documentation and executive level summaries to communicate progress and issues
• Manage capacity for creative resources to anticipate workload throughput, ensuring schedules are realistic and achievable
• Maintain team wiki including documentation management and calendar of product launches
• Escalate issues in advance to stakeholders
• Coordinating all communications with external/licensing partners
• Perform special assignments from team and department lead
Requirements
• 2+ years of project management or related experience
• 2+ years of experience in consumer product licensing
• Thorough knowledge of MS Office programs
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Experience in the interactive, e-commerce, or consumer products industries
• Ability to work and thrive in a creative environment
• Ability to collaborate in a team environment with various additional internal teams
• Creativity and complex problem solving abilities
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
• Ability to be adaptable in a constantly evolving work environment
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related field
Pluses
• PMP or other industry certification
• Experience with confluence wiki software
• Experience with ticketing software such as JIRA or You Track
• Knowledge of Blizzard games and franchises, particularly Overwatch and Overwatch League
