Position Overview
How do you use Social Media to generate interest in a product or event? Do you have marketing experience developing campaigns? If you want to use your public relations or marketing passion in an exciting, fast paced position, then we want to talk to you!
You will contribute to developing strategic marketing plans, help with the implementation and other activities to enhance and distinguish product placement within the competitive arena. You will support marketing related communications of the Professional Video, Still Imaging, Cinema and Broadcast business groups through development of collateral materials, projects, and events. This position is a liaison with Corporate Communications as well as working closely with the media to provide marketing outreach for product launches and other campaigns.

Responsibilities
• Spearhead initiatives surrounding filmmaker engagement and interaction.
• Liaise with industry professionals and source marketing opportunities.
• Conceptualize new and innovative marketing, communications, exhibition and sales promotional collateral communications of the Professional Video, Cinema and Broadcast business groups and related technologies Includes campaigns and concepts for product launches (typical launch responsibility is 10 per year and each launch can consist of as many as 25 individual campaign projects).
• Review market research, monitor competitive activity and identify customer needs.
• Engage with various professional organizations and representatives, as well as agency and related partners
• Partner with various product groups or personnel across various product divisions to determine specific goals and objectives for marketing strategies and their development.
• Assess product group needs and help develop effective communication and marketing strategy(ies) for delivering the desired information.
• Execute marketing strategies and related campaign tasks as set by management.
Qualifications
• 3-5 years of marketing experience is required, including marketing campaigns.
• Bachelors Degree is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
• PR experience a plus.
• Familiarity and working knowledge of the Professional Video, Cinema and/or Broadcast Television markets. Experience in these areas is a plus but not necessary.
• Must be available to work nights and weekends as needed.
• Must be able to travel up to 30%. A valid driver's license and acceptable driving record necessary. Additionally, because this position requires driving for company business as an essential function of the job, must remain in compliance with company safety guidelines and policies.
