Requirements
Macmillan Learning is currently offering a paid Editorial internship opportunity for Spring 2018. Interns will be provided with the opportunity to participate in work related assignments, gain practical work experience, and network with employees from various departments. Overall, the intern will become familiar with the basic structure of a publishing house and the role of each department within.
Position Description:
The intern supports the Editor and Editorial Assistant in the Higher Education division in editorial-related duties.
Major Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include soliciting instructor feedback on book projects, proofreading text, creating art logs and permissions logs, collating textbook surveys from a wide range of college professors and providing contact information for psychology professors who might consider adopting a new textbook. The intern may also attend weekly status meetings and other meetings related to the publishing process.

• Ability to prioritize projects and meet deadlines
