The Role:
One of Live Nation’s joint ventures is seeking a Manager, Digital Marketing & Strategy. This person will manage digital priorities for Sports clients including digital marketing, social media, and web and mobile properties. The Manager will be responsible for shaping both digital strategy and the execution of plans including social media publishing on a daily basis.
Responsibilities:
• Content Development: Produce social media content and manage publishing on a daily basis for all applicable social platforms; liaise with athletes and managers to develop athlete generated content
• Digital Marketing: Grow athlete awareness, site traffic and social following through partner activations, strategic social content, collaboration with league/team stakeholders, contests/sweepstakes and more
• Campaign & Event Support: Develop social strategies and plans for key events, including boxing, as well as major client campaigns
• Partner Management: Support and manage relationships with key digital partner accounts to support campaigns & athlete initiatives
• Reporting & Analysis: Monitor assigned clients’ activities and performance on a daily basis to report to internal teams. Detail success metrics and insights to improve social performance.
• Digital Property Management: Build and manage client websites, email lists and other marketing channels
• Brand Partner Support: Collaborate with the Branding team to evaluate and integrate sponsorship opportunities for assigned accounts
• Support other digital efforts across the company as needed
Qualifications:
• A minimum of 4-5 years of combined work experience in digital content and/or social media
• In-depth understanding of social media platforms, industry trends and new technologies
• Extensive knowledge of and passion for sports
• Excellent copywriting skills; ability to write under pressure for multiple use cases simultaneously
• Track record building and maintaining strong business relationships
• Strong analytical abilities and experience working with Google Analytics and/or similar platforms
• Knowledge using basic audio, photo and video editing programs
• Experience working with social management and listening platforms a plus
• Experience working with content management systems, especially Wordpress
• The drive to take initiative, work independently and be accountable while also working as a team player who is collaborative, positive and flexible
