Position Overview
Canon, U. S. A., Inc. is currently hiring for our 2018 Canon Insights Intern Program. The Insights Program is a comprehensive program that runs for 10 weeks during the summer. This is a full-time (9 AM to 5 PM), 35 hours a week, paid internship. This program is designed to provide students an opportunity to gain hands-on work experience by participating in significant work projects and exposure to various business units within Canon.
Responsibilities
Seeking a highly motivated individual that can work in a data-driven environment. The candidate will be an analytical problem solver, and have a high level of customer focus and passion for process improvement.
Supporting the Sales Analytics team, the intern will assist in enabling effective decision making by retrieving and aggregating data from multiple sources. They will then compile this data into a digestible and actionable format so that the Sales, Product, and Marketing teams can use the data to plan for the future business on Canon Direct.
Qualifications
Preferred majors: business, mathematics, data science, economics, computer science, statistics
• Candidate must have good organizational and time management skills
• Candidate should possess ability to collect and organize as well as strong analytical skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office preferred
• Knowledge of Tableau, SQL, and databases a plus
