Cumulus | New Orleansis searching for a proven leader with a track record in sales and management to serve as a Sales Manager for 4 station local cluster. The Sales Manager will help lead our team and drive revenue on Alt 92.3 WRZH, Nash Country 106.1 WRKN, Old School 106.7 KMEZ, and Power 102.9 KKND. These 4 stations are very diverse with 4 different formats that include Alternative Rock, Country, Urban A/C and Urban Contemporary. Combined with market-exclusive digital assets within our C-Suite array of products, the cluster of four powerful stations provides the best and most solutions available to serve our client partners.
Primary responsibilities include generating station sales revenue and achieving sales goals, training and managing the sales staff to achieve sales budgets and outpace the market, developing new business, managing inventory and pricing effectively, and maintaining and growing client relationships. Our sales leaders have the support of great products to market, tremendous training tools, and a team that supports business development and rewards performance.

• Actively participate in business & community associations with the intention of developing extensive relationships with local influencers and decision makers
• Maintain a constant focus on prospecting and cultivating new business
• Demonstrate the importance of utilizing our sales assets, including: spec spots, custom proposals and qualitative research
Experience:
• 3+ years’ experience as an Account Executive or Sales Manager in media industry with proven track record of success
• 4-year college degree preferred
• Proficient in all aspects of radio and digital sales, including use of quantitative/qualitative research, event development, and multiple-platform/integrated sales expertise
• Deep knowledge of radio, digital advertising sales and NTR
• Strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills
• Team builder and team player with the ability to collaborate across all departments
• Maintain a positive, enthusiastic and energetic demeanor to help foster an upbeat working environment
