The Role:
Business Strategy & Marketing (BSM) Finance is looking for a trusted finance business partner to support the Education experience team at Autodesk. This role will also manage a team of Financial analysts, that support BSM finance business partners and BSM Finance director.
The right person for this role will demonstrate leadership and collaboration skills, financial aptitude, business intuition, and capacity to work at multiple levels, including partnering with the VP of Education experiences, managing a team, and day-to-day financials details

Your Responsibilities:
• Serve as a Finance lead for the Education experiences team
• Partner directly with Vice President, Education experience as a member of line management staff
• Own end-to-end financial planning and spend forecast cycles for the Education experience team
• Manage a team of finance professionals
• Help coordinate finance efforts for the BSM Finance reporting processes
• Provide ad hoc analysis to enable insightful color of business performances and support decision making
• Lead or participate in cross-functional, intra-divisional, and/or global finance projects
• Drive efficient, consistent systems and processes, leveraging best practices and benchmarking where possible.
• Recommend and implement process improvements to achieve better results. Follow standards and ensure compliance with policies as defined by Corporate.
• Help to enforce controls to fulfill fiduciary responsibilities, including required approvals
• Build strong partnerships/relationships with a broad of cross-functional and global teams

Job Requirements:
• BS in Finance or accounting. MBA/CPA preferred
• Cloud of software company experience strongly preferred
• Minimum of 5 years finance/accounting experience
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint Skills are a must
• Ability to quickly adapt and work in a dynamic, fast-changing environment
• Interest in the marketing/strategy functions: what these organizations do, what financial issues they face, and a desire to provide outstanding finance business partnering support to these groups
