The Fountas & Pinnell Marketing Manager is responsible for managing, implementing and conceptualizing identified aspects of the overarching brand market strategy with an emphasis on digital marketing (webinars, email and product website strategy), conference management as well as nurturing the relationship with the Heinemann sales team.
In collaboration with the Director of Fountas & Pinnell Marketing and the marketing team, the Fountas & Pinnell Marketing Manager is responsible for the below identified tasks.
• Envision, manage, and execute a wide array of marketing activities for the Fountas & Pinnell Literacy™ brand with a focus on digital and Inbound marketing activities including robust email drip campaigns, extensive informational webinars, and creation, delivery and maintenance of product and marketing content to primary brand website.
• Collaborate on multi-channel marketing strategies, positioning and messaging with the Director of Fountas & Pinnell Marketing.
• Manage brand presence at national exhibits and conferences including events, giveaways, marketing collateral, author signings, booth display, booth staffing, etc.
• Analyze market trends, particularly digital trends, to inform marketing decisions and brand/business strategy.
• Nurture and facilitate a collaborative relationship with 90+ national independent sales reps, to develop strategic partnership activities on identified opportunities.
• Support the Fountas & Pinnell marketing team in the creation of new marketing tools, promotions, and events.
• Analyze, track and summarize data on email campaigns, webinars, and conferences to support and inform overarching marketing strategy and product line profitability.
• Participate in marketing and sales meetings to ensure growth in product knowledge.
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Marketing, English, Communications, or other related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing, education or communications
• Knowledge of Fountas and Pinnell materials.
• In-depth knowledge of relevant digital marketing tools and social media channels.
• Excellent written and verbal communicator including strong attention to detail
• Ability to work well in a team setting
• Ability to multi-task in-depth projects simultaneously
• Blogging and/or Wordpress experience
• Knowledge of K-12 literacy market
Physical Requirements:
• Might be in a stationary position for a considerable time (sitting and/or standing).
• The person in this position needs to move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
• Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
• Must be able to collaborate with colleagues via face to face, conference calls, and online meetings.
