OTT Digital Campaign Specialist
Job Description
TEGNA's Broadcasting Division seeks a Digital Campaign Specialist to support local Broadcast stations in Ad Operations for the new OTT business, Premion. The ideal candidate will work exclusively with TEGNA properties to facilitate OTT advertising campaigns through different ad serving platforms. Digital Campaign Specialist must master the digital workflow between business unit and ad operations to provide initial campaign fulfillment. This position is responsible for ensuring campaigns and creative are executed on-time, accurately and are monitored.
Responsibilities include: Business Unit / Digital Ad Ops Workflow: Digital Campaign Specialist must master the digital workflow that connects the business units they support and the ad servers we maintain to fulfill buys across the TEGNA ad network. Campaign Scheduling: Must fully understand all aspects of the ad servers and how to appropriately schedule campaigns. Creative Scheduling: Must fully understand all aspects of the ad specs, creative templates and ad tags to ensure proper execution of creative elements to campaigns. Urgent Support: Must provide urgent support to Broadcast stations and Premion team for campaign requested needs
Email Management: Send daily reports to OTT Team, email all contacts within in a timely fashion, and monitor email inbox consistently
Campaign Delivery: Must follow delivery guidelines and tactics to ensure campaign delivery
Customer Service: Interacting with vendors and stations. This candidate must encompass a positive customer friendly attitude while working through day to day operations
Job Requirements
Ideal candidate will have: Bachelor’s degree in a business, communication, marketing/advertising or technical related discipline required. 1-2 years of working experience in ad serving platforms or ad trafficking. (3 - 5 years of practical work experience in digital technology or advertising can be substituted for college education). Demonstrated ability to function in a technical role. Strong interpersonal and team skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks/projects at once. Superior organizational skills. Quick, adaptive learner who will develop expertise in digital workflow and ad serving systems. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to clearly convey technical and complex information through written and verbal communication. Ability to react to change productively. Proficiency in MS Office. Flash, HTML and Javascript, basic knowledge. Previous experience in digital ad serving technologies.
