We’re seeking a Director of Local Advertising Sales to join our sales organization to develop and grow our offering to local advertising clients and agencies.
This Director of Local Advertising Sales will report to the VP of East Coast Sales and consequently the Chief Sales Officer and will be a welcomed member of our broader Sales organization. This person will serve as an expert and educator on the local advertising marketplace for the team. They will work hand in hand with salespeople across the nation to develop revenue opportunities within local advertising. This person will also have the opportunity to work as an individual contributor to develop client relationships and revenue of their own. Lastly this person will lead any operational integrations necessary to facilitate local advertising sales at Vevo.

This is a full-time position and is based at our office in New York City. We are in a convenient location in Times Square with easy access to all public transportation options New York has to offer.
As a member of our team, you will
• Create and develop a local advertising marketplace for Vevo’s inventory
• Influence the pricing and positioning of Vevo’s Local Advertising offering
• Educate and inform our Sales team about the local marketplace
• Lead the vetting and integration of any operational systems necessary for your success
• You will own a revenue goal for the local marketplace and be competitively compensated for your success
• Contribute to the future success of our team, other individual contributors, and company

Requirements
• 5-7 years of experience of selling local advertising in the premium digital video space
• Rich contacts with local clients and agencies
• Competency with industry wide systems and process (for example: MediaOcean)
