The job:
The Associate Manager, Brand Marketing - People & EW plays an integral role in driving ad sales revenue by developing and coordinating pre-sale presentations, as well as executing programs post-sale across multiple categories. The position will also help manage and execute added value programs, such as email blasts, ad measure, and promo pages.
You will:
• Work with category sales and marketing to develop custom, integrated opportunities across print, digital, mobile, audio, social and events to maximize advertising partnerships across PEOPLE and EW
• Strategize and package PEOPLE& EW brand & franchise opportunities
• Develop and maintain marketing collateral and research for brand franchises, categories and new products
• Support the Associate Director in analyzing industry trends and marketing programs across competitive sites – ad sizes, custom opportunities, events, new content areas, etc.
• Coordinate and manage fulfillment of added value and promotional programs
• Oversee development of recaps/case studies as needed
You are:
• Experienced: A Bachelor’s degree is required and a minimum of two years of marketing and sales/support experience is needed, preferably in media/advertising. Digital experience a plus. You're also well-versed in mobile/app and social platforms.
• A team player: You're a self-starter who is also extremely innovative, professional and resourceful. You're a creative and strategic thinker and possess excellent proposal and written communication skills. You bring excellent interpersonal skills to the table as well.
• Organized: You have strong time management and organizational skills and are extremely proficient in PowerPoint, Word and Excel. You also bring knowledge of advertising sales, digital media and research (Google Analytics, ComScore etc.).
