The VIRGINIA ARTS FESTIVAL, entering its 22nd season, is a 10 week festival with a 75-plus performance schedule. We are looking for a Seasonal Backstage Artist Hospitality Coordinator. This position will be responsible for reviewing artist hospitality riders, working with event managers before, during, and after events to ensure the success of the artist hospitality; will work with local restaurants that may be able assist with full meals, conduct grocery shopping as needed, and keep track of the proposed budget. The Backstage Artist Hospitality Coordinator reports directly to the Production Director and the Production Manager. Employment dates vary based on season, and staff is typically scheduled on an as needed basis. There is some pre-season work available, but most work opportunities can begin late March and continue through the beginning of July. This is part-time, seasonal position.
