Internships and Studio Assistantship Programs at ISCP
Seeking Administrative Interns for the International Studio & Curatorial Program Winter 2018: ISCP is currently accepting applications for 2018 for winter internships focused on development and communications. Internships start January/February 2018. ISCP interns engage in all aspects of the day-to-day operations of an international not-for-profit arts organization and gain invaluable experience while being introduced to a vast network of international art professionals. Due to ISCP's small staff, interns play a critical role in the administration of ISCP's overall program. ISCP internships can provide a foundation in a variety of skills, and offer experience and contacts for future careers in arts administration.
Development internships focus on all aspects of fundraising including benefit planning, foundation prospect research and reporting as well as assisting with corporate sponsorships and individual donor relations. Communications internships focus on social media management (Facebook, Instagram and Twitter), documenting public events and resident activities as well as press research and outreach. ISCP offers a stipend of $12/day for transportation and lunch. All interns are invited on select monthly Field Trips and public programs including Talks, Exhibitions, and Open Studios.
Qualifications:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, multitasking, team player, Mac proficiency (Word and Excel), basic Creative Suite knowledge a plus, experience with database systems a plus, strong organizational skills, interest in non-profit arts administrations, and interest in contemporary art.
Two days a week for a minimum of four months is required and availability for occasional evening programming desired.

Seeking Studio Assistant for the International Studio & Curatorial Program for immediate start: An ISCP Resident is seeking a studio assistant who can assist her with art historical research on the correspondence between the 1920's director of the Metropolitan Museum of Art and an architect he was working with at that time.
Commitment is 1 day per week between now and the end of February 2018. ISCP offers $15 per day stipend $100 stipend at completion.

Housed in a former factory in East Williamsburg, with 35 light-filled work studios, two gallery spaces, and a library, ISCP is New York’s most comprehensive international visual arts residency program, and the fourth largest worldwide.
