Job Description
As the General Manager of the Boulevard Market you will have the satisfaction of overseeing all aspects of our polished yet unpretentious quick service food and beverage arrangements. With your dynamic personality and ability to communicate with a diverse audience, you will surprise and delight guests creating an experience they will savor long after they've taken the last bite.
PRIMARY JOB DUTIES:
Duties include, but are not limited, to the following:
• Responsible for knowledge of menu items and ingredients, functions of service employees, house and bar rules and regulations, and alcohol awareness training.
• Comply with quick service managed, partner and franchised policies, procedures and guidelines.
• Ensure proper service and atmosphere for the guests and our employees.
• Address guest concerns in a timely manner.
• Responsible for all administrative duties including payroll, scheduling, days off, section assignments, early outs, etc.
• Administer disciplinary action.
• Responsible for knowledge of how other departments relate to the operation of the restaurant, and interact with them when necessary to coordinate activities or correct problems.
• Supervise, train and plan, direct all restaurant employees.
• Ensure that all rules, regulations, and procedures are complied with by employees under supervision
• Document incidents and events involving guests or employees accurately and in detail.
• Assigns work duties and records attendance.
• Inspects Co-Stars as to uniforms, cleanliness, identification, etc.
• Assist management in other matters as requested.
• Order supplies to ensure proper par levels.
• Keep employees informed of new procedures.
• Ensures a safe working environment for employees.
• Promote teamwork among employees.
• Must provide courteous and friendly service to all vendors and employees.
• Performs related work as requested.
Job Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
• At least five (5) years' management experience in a luxury food and beverage setting: fine-dining restaurant, high-end bar, etc.
• Pre-opening food and beverage management experience.
• Great organizational and multi-tasking skills.
• Excellent communication and hospitality skills.
• Ability to present self in a professional, pleasant, confident and well-groomed manner.
• Ability to read, write and communicate verbally in English.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook.
• Ability to perform basic and intermediate math.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Work effectively with other departments and guests.
• Skill in developing, leading and maintaining guest relations.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret documents.
• Title 26 knowledge.
• At least 21 years of age.
Preferred:
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Management, Culinary, or a related field.
• Multi-unit pre-opening and operating experience.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, luxury environment.

Work is performed in the kitchen and throughout the property in other locations as necessary. Must be tolerant to varying conditions of noise level, temperature, illumination and air quality. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. When on the casino floor, the noise level increases to loud. A casino environment typically allows smoking.
Constant contact with executives, department management, applicants, Co-Stars and guests is necessary. Requires prolonged sitting or standing and mobility. Requires bending and reaching. Requires transporting, pushing, pulling, and maneuvering items weighing up to 50 lbs. Requires eye/hand coordination. Requires use of standard office equipment. Requires basic math. Requires the ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols. Communicate directly and telephonically with general public, management and staff and read and write in English. Ability to and comply with Policies and Procedures, Job Description, daily memorandums, chemical labels (MSDS) and other instructions.
