Job Description
The role of the Sales Coordinator is to support Executive Directors, Sales Directors and Sales Managers in their quest to achieve ongoing sales growth, the development of a stable and growing client base and profitable business relationships.
You will develop relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, such as PR, Communications and Media agencies, and direct clients and ensure that from prospecting through to project delivery, those stakeholders have a high level of satisfaction and confidence with Storyful. As part of News Corporation, you will also engage with many of the other business units and widen your professional network.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Project Contracting, Invoicing and Tracking
• Manage the full contract process to include creating system contract requests, liaising with clients / legal on contract approvals, maintaining accuracy and quality control, monitoring commitments and compliance on all contracts
• Manage the full invoice procedure to include checking against contracts, liaising with finance, issuing to agencies, tracking all payments
Client & Account Management
• Ensure all client and agency contact lists are up to date via Salesforce
• Monitor share and client spends via relevant tools
• Monitor client media and social activity
• Monitor competitor activity
• Assist with the response to client RFP’s and pricing requests
• Assist with the generation of proactive ideas and sales opportunities
• Assist sales with the resolution of issues with key accounts and agencies to ensure client satisfaction
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, agencies and internal stakeholders
Reporting
• Assist Sales Managers and Directors with the upkeep of Salesforce and preparation of adhoc reports as required
• Prepare reports for negotiations and contract/campaign reviews as required
General Administration
• Answer customer phone calls and emails in a prompt and professional manner
• Maintain office efficiency and provide suggestions to streamline processes and procedures
• Provide assistance to the sales and creative teams to manage client project timelines and implementation as required
• Assist in the preparation for meetings and client events and gift ordering
• System Management - Ensuring salesforce opportunities are closed/won and correlate with bookings
SKILLS REQUIRED:
• 1 year experience in media, PR or sales (preferable)
• Intermediate Excel, Word, PowerPoint
• Knowledge of slack and salesforce preferable but not essential
