The Senior Coordinator provides traffic operations functions for both internal and external uses to support the business goals of the department and its customers. The Senior Coordinator collaborates in a cross-functional capacity to ensure the delivery of high-quality content in a timely manner. The incumbent also engages with all automated traffic systems and other company enterprise systems to ensure utilization by applicable departments. Provides training and documentation on practices and systems when needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Performs essential traffic tasks across the content supply chain for video, print, web, graphic content and internal production deliverables and applicable cross-functional workflows
• Drives reliability and efficiency consciousness within the organization when implementing and maintaining workflows and practices with business applications initiated by Traffic
• Supports Director’s efforts to provide solutions and/or enhancements to applications and practices.
• Traffics video, graphics, web and print content using a task management application and supporting software.
• Provides status updates on projects using our task management and traffic workflow applications.
• Responds to inquiries related to projects from shareholders in Platforms, Marketing and On-Air planning.
• Collaborates with internal parties (as in above) to ensure timely delivery of related assets.
• Provides other traffic-related reports on an as-needed basis
• Performs additional duties as assigned by Director, Traffic Operations
Required Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum four years’ experience in a media-oriented business, advertising agency, or television network; and/or training; and/or combination of education and experience
• Knowledgeable in task workflow and scheduling software; Microsoft Office application suite with emphasis on advance Excel technique and project planning software applications
• Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects with strong organizational skills and proficient in establishing priorities
• Broad knowledge of production and postproduction processes for digital online media, television or film
PREFERRED
• Knowledge of traffic systems and related practices
