Title: Senior Social Content Analyst (commonly known as: Senior Social Media Strategist)
Job Description:

Working within the larger Social Content & Engagement Strategy team, the Sr. Social Media Strategist is responsible for helping create, concept, and complete strategic programs and campaigns using consumer insights, trends, best practices, technologies, and innovations. We are looking for candidates that possess a true passion for building innovative experiences and social content that engages consumers toward the client’s overall brand goals. This position will lead the continual optimization of these brands social media strategy, ensuring our approach is resonating with our target audience.
Responsibilities:
• Experience concepting, delivering and executing programs for leading consumer brands including: social media, content marketing, and paid social media
◦ Requires a content marketing mindset including the ability to marry the social media strategy with the brand’s attitude, tone & voice
• Curiosity for uncovering emerging social media platforms and/or first-mover opportunities with existing platforms
• Development and maintenance of social media best practice documents, oversee POV documents on new platforms and significant platform updates
• Ongoing optimization of the social strategy, playbook, community management, content creation, social promotions/contests, partnerships, and UGC to improving our delivery and enhance results
• Development of campaign content in partnership with the Community Managers and creative team
• Management of influencer & advocacy initiatives on behalf of clients that adhere to the FTC/FCC guidelines and best practices
• Partnership with the analytics team to help develop recaps and reports, extrapolating key findings and making them relatable and actionable
◦ Ensures campaign goals/KPIs are met
• Key day-to-day client counsel on social media strategy with the client and troubleshoot issues as they arise
• Collaboration with partner agencies
• Supervision and training of junior level resources
• Support for knowledge sharing between the Social and Content Marketing practice and other disciplines
• Support and contribution to business development opportunities
Qualifications:
• BA/BS in Advertising, PR, Liberal Arts, Journalism or New Media
• 3-5 years of dedicated social media experience with a focus on consumer brands
• CPG category experience is a plus, specifically outdoor and/or apparel
• Experience using the social publishing and content management platforms
• A proven knowledge of major and emerging social channels, specific rules of engagement for brands/advertisers, and general platform policies
• Must have active accounts across key social media sites including, but not limited to, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Snapchat
• Established understanding of digital marketing space (social, paid media, analytics, UGC, influencers, third-party listening)
• Excellent project management, problem solving, interpersonal, client, presentation and written/verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with online tracking methodologies and measurement best practices
• Strong relational skills (clients, internal team, vendors)
• A keen eye for detail - be proactive, and process driven
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
